Joining Bizom in 2022 was a defining moment in my professional journey. At that time, I had four years of experience as an aptitude trainer and in customer speciality roles. However, I was deeply interested in working with SaaS-based companies, which led me to apply for a role at Bizom. After successfully clearing the interview, I embarked on a new and exciting chapter in my career. Though I had prior experience, joining Bizom felt like a fresh start, bringing a renewed sense of enthusiasm and a clear goal—to learn, grow, and eventually step into a leadership role.
I started as an Implementation Associate, and the first three to six months were particularly challenging. Understanding the product and its processes was no easy feat. However, what I appreciated most was Bizom’s culture of self-learning. Instead of relying on others for answers, I was encouraged to explore and find solutions independently, which significantly shaped my problem-solving abilities.
By 2023, I had the opportunity to set up a new account from scratch, which greatly enhanced my product knowledge. Soon, new challenges started coming my way, including on-site client interactions. Initially, I was hesitant about working from the client’s office as I lacked confidence. However, my mentors at Bizom believed in me and provided the necessary support. Spending three months at the client’s office turned out to be a transformative experience. It not only helped me refine my skills in time management, stakeholder engagement, and business understanding but also gave me the confidence to interact directly with key decision-makers for requirement gathering.
Then came 2024, a year that marked a significant milestone in my career—I was promoted to the role of Project Manager, fulfilling the goal I had set on my very first day at Bizom. April brought not only the new designation but also the recognition of my contributions over the past two years. I was honored with three invaluable awards for making a positive impact at work and, most notably, the Leadership Guru award. These accolades reinforced my belief that hard work and perseverance never go unnoticed at Bizom.
Beyond work, another aspect that made my journey at Bizom special was the company’s strong sporting culture. I was fortunate to be part of an incredible sports community, participating in multiple tournaments. Over the years, I won three football tournaments, one cricket tournament, and one badminton tournament. As someone passionate about sports, these moments were just as rewarding as my professional milestones. The fact that Bizom actively promotes sports by organizing tournaments every quarter added to my excitement and work-life balance.
Looking back on these 2.9 years, I see immense growth, both professionally and personally. I have gained confidence, honed my leadership skills, and developed a deep understanding of my work. One of the things I truly admire about Bizom is its culture of recognizing and rewarding good performance. I have been lucky to experience this firsthand. Apart from work, the camaraderie built during tournaments and events made my journey even more memorable.
Bizom has given me a platform to learn, lead, and excel, and I am truly grateful for that. The journey has been filled with challenges, learning experiences, and cherished memories, and I look forward to contributing even more in the years ahead.
