Blessed to have a friend like you! - Algorithmic Jugaad @ Bizom

Friendship is one of the greatest blessings that not everyone is lucky enough to have. We meet a lot of people on the journey of life, but there are only a few who leave a mark on us. Abhishek B.B. is one such person who has been able to make a positive impact on my life. We have been a part of the Activities and Engagement (A&E) squad in the Engineering team since we joined Bizom and our friendship journey has a long way to go!

Our friendship started when Abhishek and I joined in June-July, in Bizom. Initially, we were working from home due to the second phase of COVID, and most of our conversations were through phone calls or through online meetings.

In September 2021, we met at the office, and I never thought that we would become best friends. Later, we learned so many things about each other and found out that we share similar tastes in music and fashion. Since then, there has been no stopping us. We spend all our time together, and our friendship became noticeable to others.

Seeing us always together, Preethi started calling us Chintu-Bantu followed by Rajas, Ratandeep, Bhaskar, and more.

As we worked together in the same team and squad, We used to help out each other with good coding practices and distributing the task among us, which helped us both and the squad to reach our goals effectively.

I found out that working in a team where you can feel every one as your friend makes the workplace awesome. Randeep, our QA, always fights in a funny way when he finds bugs in a feature and respects our inputs once testing is done on that feature. Rajas Bhai, friendly by nature, always wants to stabilize the models of A & E. He is proactive in solving the bugs and making the bug count zero, and it is fun to work with him. Praveen, our team lead, is always calm and has got answers for everything ( people wouldn’t call him guruji without any reason) and is still very engaging and friendly with the team.

As a special mention, we have Kandi Bhai ( Arvind Kandi), one of the best human beings you can ever meet in your life/workplace. He is the go-to person for any help regarding coding. It’s always fun to fight and work with him :P.
