I’m Karthik, a proud member of the Bizom presales team, and my life has been profoundly shaped by both my professional endeavors and my love for sports. Growing up, I always had a deep desire to participate in various sports, such as volleyball, basketball, and cricket. Being the only child at home meant I received extra care, which led to me being a bit on the chubbier side. My friends often doubted my fitness level, believing that including me on their sports teams would result in a loss.

Determined to change this perception, I began my journey into cricket coaching during my childhood. Initially, I was reluctant towards rigorous training, but I realized the importance of fitness during my college years, driven by health concerns and a desire to break stereotypes. My journey wasn’t without its challenges. I vividly recall my early days of coaching, where I would often resist the coach’s instructions to run laps and instead preferred to bat immediately. My batting style was either a boundary or a dot ball, with little interest in running between the wickets. However, as I matured, so did my understanding of the game and the importance of fitness. With sheer dedication and four months of consistent basketball and gym sessions, I managed to shed an impressive 60 kilograms, transforming myself from 125 kg to 65 kg. But I didn’t stop there. Basketball became more than just a means to stay fit; it became a passion I pursued daily.
After finding like-minded friends who shared my love for the game, I formed my own basketball team, which now competes in various tournaments. Yet, my journey doesn’t end with my own accomplishments. I’ve taken it upon myself to share my knowledge and passion for sports with others. I volunteer as a coach, teaching cricket to 15+ students in the morning and basketball in the evening, without charging a fee. My ultimate goal? To establish my own academy for basketball and cricket, where I can nurture young talents and help them reach their full potential.
